Are you looking for a fun fall-themed activity that practices color recognition and color words? This resource includes TWO options for you! The first version of the book has simple sentences and allows students to color the leaf on the page to match the sentence. The second version of the book has traceable color words within the simple sentence. Students can color the leaf and trace the color word.

In the sample pictures above, you can see the first page in both versions of the book: One without the traceable color word, and the other with the traceable color word.

I also included two different cover options!

*This book can easily be customized! I have included a page for 11 colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, black, white, and gray). You can rearrange or omit any pages as needed. For example, you could omit the purple, pink, white, blue, black, and gray pages so the colors are more typical fall colors. It’s up to you!
