An Easy Earth Day Bulletin Board Idea for Kindergarten

One of my favorite things about April has always been updating our hallway bulletin board with student work. After winter, I’m ready for something fresh, and my students are, too! An easy idea that everyone will love is to make an Earth Day bulletin board. Creating an Earth Day craft is a simple way to create a bright spring bulletin board and celebrate Earth Day, and it’s even better if it incorporates a little writing practice.

Today, I’m going to share an Earth Day craft and writing activity that I know you’ll love. If you’ve been looking for an Earth Day bulletin board idea, you’re in the right place!

How to Make an Earth Day Bulletin Board

Putting together an Earth Day bulletin board doesn’t have to be complicated. Here’s a simple way to assemble your board:

  1. Cover your bulletin board with blue or green paper.
  2. Staple or attach a blue, green, or Earth Day-themed border around the edge.
  3. Add a phrase to the board (there are some ideas below!)
  4. Attach student crafts to the board.
  5. Add any decorations you would like, or keep it simple. It will look great either way!
