This classic tale of a teddy bear in search of his missing button is a timeless favorite. My oldest daughter used to ask me to read it to her every night! It’s not only a great story of friendship and belonging, but also a good introduction to the letter C through the name “Corduroy”.

3. Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin
